It is my great pleasure to welcome you all to the International School of The Hague (ISH) for the 2025 Alliance for International Education Conference. We are honoured to host this gathering of passionate educators, dedicated to shaping a more just and peaceful world through education.

The theme, "Educating for Peace and Social Justice: The role of International Education", could not be more fitting—nor could there be a more symbolic setting than The Hague, a city renowned for its commitment to peace, justice and international cooperation. As educators, we have the profound responsibility of nurturing not only academic excellence but also empathy, equity, and intercultural understanding in future generations.
