Statement of Purpose

AIE's Statement of Purpose was created and adopted by the participants at the second biennial Conference in Düsseldorf in October 2004 and was updated in November 2020.

The Alliance for International Education brings together individuals and institutions that are committed to advancing intercultural understanding, global awareness and social justice through education. By sharing ideas collaboratively, it encourages the critical exploration of concepts and the learning of relevant knowledge, skills and values.
